Lansing USD469 Extends Gratitude To Our First Community Connect Volunteer, Mr. Josh Gatewood!
Lansing Unified School District 469 extends heartfelt gratitude to our inaugural Community Connect volunteer, Mr. Josh Gatewood, for spending the day helping at Lansing Elementary School on Friday, February 23rd.
Mr. Gatewood gave his entire Friday to help with car riders, recess, lunchroom duty, front office, and bus line supervision at Lansing Elementary School.
The Community Connect initiative aims to bridge the gap between our educational institutions and the broader community by allowing community members to see what goes on behind the scenes in each of our buildings.
"Thank you to Mr. Gatewood for his time helping out at Lansing Elementary School," said Superintendent Marty Kobza. "Through volunteers like Mr. Gatewood, we hope to build a stronger connection between our schools and the community."
