February 12, 2024 Board of Education Recognitions: Seventh-Grade Science Teacher Stacey Jenkins
Lansing USD469 would like to congratulate Mrs. Stacey Jenkins for being recognized during our February 12, 2024 Board of Education meeting.
Seventh-grade science Teacher Mrs. Stacey Jenkins was nominated by one of her peers who had this to say about her:
"I have had the pleasure of working in the same building as Stacey Jenkins for the past nine years. During that time, she has consistently gone above and beyond to help all students and staff members.
She takes her time before and after school to help re-teach her subject and has been an outstanding mentor for numerous teachers, a great peer, and an advocate for students who are struggling learners.
This year, Stacey has been the definition of a team player and champion. She has gone out of her way to help more students than ever. This has been through providing differentiated notes to all seventh-grade students, re-teaching science concepts to all seventh-grade students, providing teachers with additional materials/tools to support students, and, at times of need, combining classes to provide high-caliber instruction to students. This alone qualifies her for this honor.
Stacey's professionalism and attitude while navigating these situations really sets her apart. She is a vision of grace, positivity, and compassion. Stacey Jenkins is truly the type of human who is deserving of this honor."
On behalf of Lansing USD469, congratulations to Mrs. Stacey Jenkins! We are proud to have her as part of the pride!
