LV Lansing JROTC Victoriously Compete in the National High School Drill Team Championships
The LV Lansing Drill Teams recently traveled to Daytona, Florida, to compete in Drill Nationals. On May 3rd, they competed in the Army Nationals; on May 4th through 5th, they competed in the All-Service Nationals. The teams included Lansing students Cadet Cristiana Scillieri, Cadet Gabrielle Ohwovoriole, and Cadet Gunnar Blome. Both Unarmed and Armed Teams did amazing!
The Cavalry Angels Drill Team is the 2024 - (All Services) National JROTC High School Drill Team National Champions Runner-Ups. They competed against over 120 top teams from across the Nation, encompassing All Services (Army, USMC, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard).
The Calvary Angels also placed 3rd in the U.S. Army JROTC National Drill Championship, competing against 88 Army Teams.
The Pioneer Guard Drill Team was just as impressive, earning 2nd place as the 2024 U.S. Army JROTC Drill Championship Runner-ups. They also competed against the top 88 Army Teams from across the Nation.
Cadet Cristiana Scillieri, Cadet Gabrielle Ohwovoriole, and Cadet Gunnar Blome will be greatly missed as they graduate and move on to do great things with their ROTC Scholarships!
