Lansing High School Repertory Theatre Students Bring Storytelling Magic to Elementary Students
On the morning of May 15th, our Lansing High School Repertory Theatre students debuted their first-ever "Character Day" in collaboration with our Kindergarten and 2nd-grade classes. The high school students dressed up in character (Disney princesses this year) and entertained our young students by reading stories and answering questions as part of their Storytelling Unit assessment.
Thank you to students Bash Bousfield, Emma Miller, Kacie Keah-tigh, Ava Valdez, and their teacher, Kelli Jo Swift, for fostering a sense of community and connection between the different schools. Events like these highlight the collaborative spirit of Lansing USD469!
