Lansing USD469 District Representatives Spread Joy with Appreciation Carts
District representatives from Lansing USD469 visited each school on Monday, October 16, and Wednesday, October 18, with appreciation carts filled with snacks and beverages for every staff member across the district.
This tour was the first for the 2023-2024 school year for Superintendent Marty Kobza, Director of Teaching & Learning Miles Azzeh, and Director of Student Services Ascendra Donald, and the district plans to continue it each quarter.
Superintendent Marty Kobza emphasized the importance of recognizing the dedication of every staff member across our district. "Having an opportunity to show a small gesture of gratitude to our staff is very satisfying," said Mr. Kobza. "I really enjoyed getting an opportunity to be in the buildings and see everyone. We have a terrific team here in Lansing, and I want them to know they are appreciated."
The district's initiative of appreciation carts symbolizes our gratitude to those who make Lansing USD469 such a great place to work and learn, and we are grateful to everyone who contributes to that.
