LIS is Happy to Announce Two Key Additions to Our Intervention Team!
Mark Davoren and Jenni Sanderson make up a couple key additions to our intervention team this year. We are very excited about the ability to better provide our students with extra support in reading and math.
A little more about them:
"Hello, Lions! My name is Mark Davoren, or Mr. Davoren or Mr. D. I am the interventionist at LIS. I’ve been teaching for over 25 years. I’ve been an interventionist for the past 15 years for grade K-8. I am excited to be here and ready to get started working with the awesome staff at LIS.
When I’m not at work, I like to spend time with my beautiful wife and our awesome daughter. If I can pry myself away from them long enough, I like to fish and hunt. I still love learning. If I’m reading, and it’s not about deer hunting, it’s an educational book about the science of reading. Let’s get after it, Lions!"
"My name is Jenni Sanderson. I have been in the education field since 2011. I have had many roles in different districts. I graduated from Emporia State in 2010. My degree is in Elementary Education.
My husband and I have three daughters. This is an exciting year for us, our oldest is in high school!!! The other two are younger - one at the intermediate school and the other is at the elementary. My husband has been a mailman in Mission for almost 11 years now. We have lived in Lansing for two years and we love it. I enjoy watching my kids play sports, singing at our church, going for a hike, and camping."
