NON-ACADEMIC SURVEY RESOURCES |
Lansing USD469 uses the KCTC and mySAEBRS/SAEBRS surveys for several reasons:
-
Data-Driven Decision Making: The survey provides valuable data that helps school districts and communities make informed decisions about prevention strategies, intervention programs, and resource allocation.
-
Targeted Interventions: By identifying specific risk factors within a community, schools can tailor interventions to address the unique needs and challenges faced by their students.
-
Monitoring Progress: School districts can use the survey to track changes in risk and protective factors over time. This enables them to assess the effectiveness of prevention efforts and make adjustments as needed.
-
Community Collaboration: The survey promotes collaboration between schools, families, local organizations, and government agencies to create a comprehensive approach to prevention.
-
Grant Funding: Some prevention initiatives and programs may require data from surveys like KCTC to secure funding from grants or other sources.
-
Policy Development: The data collected from the survey can inform the development of policies and initiatives aimed at improving the overall well-being of students and reducing risky behaviors.
