As part of this initiative, Baylee will be providing our community with practical tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Baylee's January submission is the following health tip, quote, and recipe:
Hello, it’s Baylee Baragary and I’m here with yet another health tip, quote, and recipe to share with you all so you can stay healthy and positive as the year goes on!
Health recipe
Triple Berry blended oats
Ingredients:
2 cups of old-fashioned rolled oats
1 3/4 cups of oat milk
1 1/4 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries, divided
3/4 cup of fresh or frozen strawberries, divided
1 1/4 cup of chopped fresh or frozen raspberries, divided
1/4 cup of smooth natural almond butter
2 tablespoons chia seeds
2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoons salt
Directions:
Place oats, oat milk, 1 cup of blueberries, 1 cup raspberries, 1/2 cup strawberries, almond butter, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt in a blender, process until oats and berries are smooth. Step 2, divide the mixture among 4 (8 ounce) jars; cover and refrigerate for at least eight hours, finally top with the remaining berries.
