Site Council
LANSING MIDDLE SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL |
The Lansing Middle School Site Council is an advisory group made up of teachers, parents and community leaders. This group of dedicated individuals works very hard to provide programs and special activities for Lansing Middle School students. The following are a few of the programs and activities the LMS Site Council is responsible for each school year.
- LMS Fine Arts Fair
- 8th Grade Celebration
- Peer Leadership
- New Student Orientation
- New Parent Orientation
- Political Forum (done during election year)
Each year the site council will adopt a new goal, while maintaining many of the programs and activities from the past. The LMS Site Council needs parents that are willing to attend a monthly meeting and to chair or provide assistance to one or more of the programs/activities listed above. The Lansing Middle School Site Council meets the second Wednesday of every month in the middle school library at 3:45 PM. Meetings usually conclude by 5:00 PM. If you are interested in serving on the LMS Site Council, please email Principal Brooks Jenkins.
