Lansing USD469 Shows Off School Spirit During Homecoming Week
Lansing Homecoming week was a tremendous success across Lansing USD469, with students and staff participating in spirit days from September 26th - September 30th. Each day leading up to homecoming brought a different spirit day. Students from Pre-K to 12th grades wore PJs, country club/country attire, favorite jerseys, neon/disco clothing, and lion pride throughout the week.
The district came together on Wednesday, September 28th, for our third annual Homecoming Extravaganza in the staff parking lot of Lansing High School. Lansing High School student council students, led by sponsors Christina Hoverson and Maeve Bolin, organized the event, offering many games, inflatables, and food truck vendors.
