Lansing Intermediate School Open House on September 22nd a Tremendous Success
Lansing Intermediate School had a fantastic turnout for their Open House event on September 22, 2022. Parents were invited into the school to visit their students' classrooms and participate in fun activities. The school held a 50/50 raffle to raise money for student activities and invited representatives from the Cub Scouts, Junior Guard, and PTA.
LIS Principal Martin Altieri was thrilled with the number of people who were able to make it:
"It was great having parents, students, and community members in the building. It felt amazing to walk around LIS, feel the positive energy, and see families having fun together. A huge shout-out to everyone who helped make the event possible because there were many moving parts. I am grateful to parents who took time out of their schedules to be invested in their child's education."
The event allowed him to kick off the new LIS newsletter, the Lansing Intermediate Roar.
