Lansing High School students in the Teaching as a Career class visited first graders in Mrs. Leitsch's room on Thursday, March 7 to facilitate fun lessons and activities for Read Across America Spirit Week.
The high schoolers, led by Mrs. Maeve Bolin and Mr. Nick Flynn, planned four stations: face painting, math, STEM, and writing. Each station was a fun way for the students to celebrate the creativity of Dr. Seuss and talk about their favorite parts of the week.
Thank you to the high school students and teachers for taking the time to mentor our young Lions. It was a fun learning experience for everyone involved!
