Lansing Boys’ Swim Team wins first UKC Swimming Championship!

Lansing Lions - UKC Champs!The Lansing Boys' Swim Team had an incredible showing at the February 5th United Kansas Conference at home in the Lansing High School Natatorium. They took 1st over 2nd place Leavenworth by 18 points. Assistant Coach Bresser was thrilled with the results. "Yesterday they capped off a magical season by winning the first UKC championship in decisive fashion. I’m very proud of their performance in the water and on deck. They handled themselves with dignity."
Head Coach Floetke was also incredibly proud of the team's performance. "It was exciting to see so many close races at the first championship meet of a new conference. Not only did our guys pull through and win the meet, but they got fresh state times, season bests, and even school records in the process."
